Adjust Segmentation

Segmentation can only be adjusted on documents using a Translation Only workflow.

The segmentation feature is disabled on a document as soon as translations are saved–in any target language. This includes machine translations and translations from TM Leverage. 


To adjust a document’s segmentation, 

  1. Open the untranslated document in the workbench. 

  2. In the context viewer, click to select the segment you want to change.

  3. Then right click to display the Adjust Segment menu.

  4. From the menu, choose whether you would like to

    1. Merge the selected segment with the next segment

    2. Split the segment at the place that you clicked.
